Rugby Lesson's

At Rugby Lessons our teachers are Jo and Chris. So far we have done the tagging, dummy and stepping. Next week we are going to play the proper game. Today we had someone trying to tag us. We had to swap over. I think it was awesome.

Mary Macillop day

On Mary Mackillop day it was great. In the church we had a special assembly beacause that day Mary Mackillop was becoming Australia's first saint. On that day we all dressed in olden days clothes. When we were in the classroom we heard people getting the cane next door.

Grandparents Day

On Thursday we had Grandparents Day. First we had a liturgy. At the liturgy the choir and music ministry sang. After that we went back and did a Grandparents word find. Our Grandparents came in to help. We also showed them the art and then it was lunch.

Dance cart concert

I wasn't at the Dance Cart concert. When we were practicing it was fun. So I think dancing on the stage would be fun too.

Our Excursion

On Thursday we went on an Excursion. We went to a Science centre and the Museum. In the Science centre my favourite zone was the body zone because of that thing that makes your friends scared and that tunnel that makes you dizzy. In the museum we saw dead animals and dinosaurs. We went by bus and ate on the grass. I liked the museum.

Force and motion

A couple of weeks ago we all did a science experiment on force and motion. We put our thumbs on the side of the rubberband with the matchbox on it and then let go. Then we measured how far the box went and wrote the measurements on a worksheet. So now we know why it went different distances! I thought it was fun because the experiment was cool.

Dance Cart

Every Friday we do Dance Cart. We have done Dance Cart for three weeks so far. Our Dance Cart teachers are named miss Saira and miss Laura. We are doing Dance Cart because we are learning how to dance. Our song we are doing waltzing Madilda. If we dance good we get stars or hearts and in a few weeks we dance on stage.

The talent extravaganza

I enjoyed the talent extravaganza. My favourite act was the lollie pop dance. The talent show was last tusday. I thougt it was great. My sister gloria was doing the rainbow dance. She done it with jayden.

Skipping

The jumping beans came. They were amazing because of there tricks. They came from Beenleigh state school.They did lots of tricks when music was playing. They said skipping helps your heart and liver and smoking can kill you.

Wild man visit

The wild man stuied animals that were wild. We talked about eight different animals. They were dusky morons,eels,saltwarter crocidils,wombats,red eyed frog,cane toad,birds and black swans. We got to touch lot's of things. I was in the croc group. I liked how the pictures were shwn.

Our water use investigation

We were trying to see how to save water. Our group measured. Other pepole got a photo we dident. We measured water. We made a graph. I saw the measurement. Now I no how to save water.

Brisbane Markets

We had vinnisa she brang in oscor. we got tort about frits/vege. we got a pencel case. we got to give him a five.

This is my maths activity. I think March is the best month because it will cool down and my birthday is on the 18th which is my best part of March. Next month it will be... Easter and on March the 5th it's Australia clean up day.
